Andrew Horton
Lecturer in Film Acting
I am Andrew Horton, an actor and acting instructor with a passion for the performing arts. After studying acting at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff (UK), I deepened my craft through further education in techniques such as Meisner, Method Acting, and Stanislavski – both in Europe and the USA.
One of my most well-known roles was the lead character in the Netflix series *Jupiter's Legacy*. This experience not only brought me international recognition but also helped me grow as an actor. In addition to working in front of the camera, I love performing on stage, whether in classical or contemporary plays in London's West End.
However, my creative work extends beyond acting. I have contributed to the development of independent film projects that have been showcased at renowned festivals such as the Edinburgh International Film Festival and the Tribeca Film Festival.
For several years, I have been sharing my knowledge as a lecturer in acting and camera acting. I aim to prepare young actors for the challenges and opportunities of the industry with a practical approach, focusing on psychological depth and authentic experiences.
My goal is to inspire and support other artists through my experiences both in front of and behind the camera – while continuing to learn and grow myself.
